London's Calling
"London calling to the faraway towns
Now that war is declared-and battle come down
London calling to the underworld
Come out of the cupboard, all you boys and girls"
The London Eye - fantastic panaromic view of London from up there. Looking down makes one feel very, very small and nauseous.
Note to visitors: Pre-buy tickets online and don't worry about the queue to board the capsules, the Eye takes more people than one thinks.
Oxford Circus - shopping central. The amount of people in the street was mad! Felt like a salmon going upstream while attempting to go against the crowd. Christmas and Boxing Day sale - what can one expect?
Photo taken from Niketown's 5th floor office.
My beebs and me at the Tower of London -- where horny King Henry VIII beheaded two of his wives, Anne Boleyn and Lady Jane Grey. Legend has it that many ghosts walk the corridors of the Tower, including both wrongly-beheaded quuens and two young princes who were suffocated by their uncle.
My first live football match at Arsenal's Highbury Stadium. Loved the experienced, would do it again anytime!
Arsenal played Manchester City, 1-1. R-E-D A-R-M-Y!
Watched Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty's Theatre in London's West End. The play's been running there for 18 years!
No photography allowed in the theatre because of artistic copyright.
