Inception: Christopher Nolan fans rejoice!
Since Memento (I saw Memento before The Following), Christopher Nolan has been on my favorite directors list. While some directors have disappointed after a few films (yes you, M. Night Shayamalan!), Nolan continues to impress beyond believe and every time he works on a new project, he renews my faith in great filmmaking.
So it's no surprise that Nolan's new film Inception boasts not only a cast list of the who's who of film lovers - think Leo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Caine, Cillian Murphy, Ellen Page, Marion Cotillard and Ken Watanabe - but /Film also reports that the teaser trailer that's attached to Inglourious Basterds promises to be another excellent Nolan piece where you'll leave the cinema going, "omg, this is the best movie I've seen this year!"
Pulled from a fan's posting on IMDB's message boards - read the complete excerpt at /Film - Inception sounds like The Matrix meets Dark City, but knowing Nolan's history of throwing curveball twists in his movies, we'll never know what to expect until we see the actual movie in 2010. The teaser trailer will be online on Monday, be sure to head over to the official web site for Inception (http://inceptionmovie.warnerbros.com/). For now, there's only an image of a spinning top on the web site.
From Rotten Tomatoes via /Film: Inception is about entering peoples’ minds/dreams. A technology to do so has been developed and is done through an injection. DiCaprio and his team work to enter the minds of other characters in order to retrieve/plant information.
