• Over at Total Film, some grainy-looking stills from Avatar - I have to say, I'm not very impressed. The Avatars and Na'vi are starting to look quite cheesy. Like Gumbo feel into a can of blue paint and in Pocahontas garb.


• /Film reports that selected IMAX theaters and AMC theaters in the US have started selling tickets to James Cameron's Avatar through online pre-orders -- 4 months ahead of its release on Dec 18! People were queuing up for weeks to be the first to buy tickets to Star Wars: Episode 1 Phantom Menace


• And finally, some local flavor - a lil' bird told me that selected people (read: media) were invited to the screening of the 16-minute footage of Avatar last week. Jealous!
