The Vampire's Assistant: Willem Dafoe, Ken Watanabe, John C. Reilly, Salma Hayek

I'm a sucker for movies with vampires, even knowing well enough that most vampire movies turn out to be commercial mush (yes, here's looking at you, Twilight and Underworld). The Vampire's Assistant is a new movie adapted by a 3-part young adult fiction series by Darren Shane, about a teenager who's pulled into a world of vampires and circus freaks.

It has an amazing cast, with John C. Reilly and Willem Dafoe as vampires, Salma Hayek as a bearded woman and Ken Watanabe as a mind reader. Check out the poster from Cinematical.com. The Vampire's Assistant is scheduled for an October 2009 release in the US. Adding another series to my library list!
