Waffles on Wheels!

Writing this post is making me hungry. Love this simple, cost effective and fun marketing idea that's been garnering quite a lot of media coverage. Stumbled across Waffles & Dinges over at SEM. Waffles & Dinges is the brainchild of Thomas DeGeest, who with his wife (who he lovingly calls "Waffle Lady") drive a truck around New York City selling Belgian waffles!

Here's the catch: If you want their yummy, warm, fluffy waffles - you have to know where their next stop is! And to do that, follow WafflesTruck on Twitter! Waffles & Dinges also do mini contests for secret passwords and challenges via Twitter, with winners getting extra toppings or free waffles! @WafflesTruck has more than 3,000 followers, not bad for a 2-year-old waffle truck business selling only in NYC!

I think DeGeest is kidding about being part of the Belgian Ministry of Culinary Affairs but he used to work for IBM as a management consultant! LOL, now that's a yummy career move!
