Brunch at Caffe Habitu, in G.O.D. store at Tsim Sha Tsui in Hong Kong |
On the table - cappuccino brûlée (capped with a layer of burnt sugar, sounds better than it tastes) and Tsar's Choice Eggs Benedict. Your basic eggs benny with smoked salmon served with a side of caviar.
I kid, it was merely a spoonful. They butter the English muffin which was interesting but you'll notice the strange bed of lettuce on my muffin. Took me a while to figure out why my default breakfast tastes
weird. Who in the world puts lettuce on their eggs benny? Weird.
Coffee's basic, nothing to shout about, way too much milk for my liking. Side note: Wawee Coffee in Bangkok is superawesomebrilliant. The iced Doi Ithanon from Wawee is the first coffee I've had a buzz from in years! Thanks to the also superawesomebrilliant Fe for making us stop for coffee in Bangkok after a sucky dinner!
Okay, off to buy me some dimsum plates from G.O.D. - photos later!
